Teaching Awards 2009

Natascha in Angola video
As you already know Natascha joined UNICEF and Pampers in their Gift of Life campaign and recently went to Angola to learn more about tetanus in this region. Here's a short video from her travels.

Natascha joins a UNICEF Gift of Life campaign
Actress and mother-of-three, Natascha McElhone, has joined forces with the Pampers & UNICEF ‘Gift of Life’ campaign in its goal to help eliminate maternal and newborn tetanus by 2012.Humbled by her experiences in Angola and the progress made by the campaign over the last few years thanks to the support of mums in the UK and around the world, Natascha has joined forces with partners Pampers and UNICEF to continue helping to raise funds for life-saving maternal and newborn tetanus vaccines. Being a spokesperson for UNICEF/Pampers, Natascha took part in a special event along with 10 UK bloggers to learn more about tetanus and the campaign. Some Californication news
As you probably all know, Californication began its 3rd season on Sept. 27, and yes, Natascha was in the 1st episode as well- screencaps are in the gallery.

Moreover, as it turned out, due breaking ratings of the latest 2 episodes, Californication has been picked up for a 4th season! Big congrats to the entire cast and crew!
Another reason for a (small) celebration, is that according to The Guardian's American journalist, Natascha's accent on Californication is spot on! Here's what he had to say about her:

10/10 Laconic and unhinged, but pretty much pitch-perfect. The cadence is good, and the accent feels as if its attached to the character. A cut above."
She sounds convincing to me, but hey, what do I know, English is not my mother tongue ;)

Californication's official website has been updated with info about the first episode of the upcoming season (Natascha's sadly not featured in it! :( ), wallpapers and a new behind the scenes video!
New season looks so much fun, so make sure to tune in on Sept 27!

3rd birthday!
Shame on me for being a week late, but nevertheless, a good reason to celebrate- Natascha-McElhone.net had its 3rd birthday last week!Exactly on 7 August 2006 we opened the site, with little content but a lot of good will and motivation. Now, 36 months on, we have quite an impressive photo collection (over 10,000!), accurate information and many visitors who have been with us since the beginning.
