Just a quick note- the book we wrote about few weeks ago is, indeed, the real thing, so make sure to buy it! I haven't read it myself yet, but various reviews claim that it is outstanding!

Natascha publishing a book?

"Natascha McElhone, star of The Truman Show and Californication, was filming in LA, seven months pregnant with her third child with her other two young children playing in the gym across the road when she got a call from a friend that would change her life forever. Her husband, Martin, the love of her life and father to her delightful children and an apparently healthy man in his early 40s had died suddenly of a heart attack. In the weeks and months that followed the devastating shock Natascha continued to write her diary and letters to Martin (something she had always done as, due to her work, she was used to being far from home). They were letters of love, letters about their gorgeous boys, letters about the birth of the new baby and diary entries detailing the mundane and heartbreaking details of her new life: house repairs and terrifying family finances; trying to keep the children's lives as normal as possible in the face of such abnormal new circumstances. The result is a powerful, honest and moving story of a magical love affair and all-consuming grief, of being a mother alone and trying to live for the future."

We don't know how reliable Amazon is (especially that Natascha was 3, not 7, months pregnant when Martin passed away), so I suppose we'll have to wait till July to find out whether the book is legit :)

Natascha to star in Billingham 'Thorne' series

"David Morrissey is to take the title role in the TV adaptation of Thorne.

Natascha McElhone, Aidan Gillen and Eddie Marsan will also star in the Sky1 adaptation of Mark Billingham's best-selling crime thrillers.

"Having been a fan of Mark Billingham's books for years, it's a great privilege to be able to play such an exciting character," said David of the role of DI Tom Thorne.

"I'm also chuffed to be reunited with Stephen Hopkins who is one of the best directors I've had the pleasure of working with," he added.

Author Mark said he was thrilled with the casting.

He said: "I'm hugely excited to see the books brought to the screen by such an incredible array of talent on both sides of the camera. David Morrissey was always the actor I wanted to play Tom Thorne."

Thorne, which will be filmed on location in and around London, will be shown as a six-part series in the autumn."

Heaven And Earth is back in the picture!

"Miranda Raison has admitted she finds her co-star Natascha McElhone so beautiful she "forgets to listen to her sometimes".

The two British actresses will star together in Heaven And Earth, a film telling the true story of Dr James Barry who was discovered on his deathbed to be a woman.

Natascha will star as the doctor, while Spooks star Miranda plays a woman who falls for her, believing she's a man.

Miranda said of the Californication star: "I think she might be the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in real life. You sort of forget to listen to her sometimes. But she's extraordinary and it would be very exciting to be there with her."

But the pair don't actually have any love scenes together.

"It's a gentle crush really," Miranda said. "My character has a boyfriend played by Elliot Cowan, who's also rather gorgeous really. So gorgeous him, gorgeous her, too many gorgeous people to choose from."
